Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist for a Phoenix, AZ, on-site role with multiple shifts. The ideal candidate will set up, program prove-outs, and run 3–5 axis parts on Fanuc-controlled mills and lathes.

Qualified applicants have 5+ years in aerospace or tight-tolerance machining, strong GD&T skills, and experience with Renishaw probing. Safety-minded and detail-oriented individuals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes with Fanuc controls.
• Perform full setups, changeovers, and prove-outs on 3–, 4– and 5–axis jobs.
• Use Renishaw probing for work offsets and in-cycle verification.
• Read complex blueprints with GD&T comprehension (datum structures, true position, profile).
• Hold tight tolerances (±0.001" or better) on aerospace-grade parts.

CNC Mill Machinist Phoenix, AZ · On-site · Full-time

Join a leading aerospace manufacturer in Phoenix where precision matters and your skills drive mission-critical components. We're hiring experienced CNC machinists who can set up, run, and prove out parts on modern Fanuc-controlled mills and lathes— multiple shifts available.

Pay Range: $25–$35/hr
Shifts: 2nd (M–Th)(+8% Shift Differential)

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC vertical/horizontal mills and/or lathes (Fanuc controls)
• Perform full setups, changeovers, and prove-outs on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis jobs
• Use machine probing (Renishaw preferred) for work offsets and in-cycle verification
• Read complex blueprints with strong GD&T comprehension (datum structures, true position, profile)
• Hold tight tolerances (±0.001 " or better) on aerospace-grade parts
• Troubleshoot issues (vibration, tool wear, tolerance drift) and maintain quality

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of CNC mill and/or lathe experience in aerospace or tight-tolerance manufacturing
• Proven ability to perform independent setups and program prove-outs
• Strong Fanuc controls experience
• Solid GD&T knowledge (datum structures, true position, profile, etc.)
• Familiarity with machine probing (Renishaw preferred)
• Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented
