Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist in Cockeysville, MD for a manual mill/lathe role. No programming required; all programs are pre-made. You’ll set up machines, apply offsets, and produce parts per pre-programmed operations.

Candidates must supply their own tools; certifications are not required but a plus. Shift is Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Saturday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM (possible overtime).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manual mill/lathe experience.
• Must provide own tools.
• Proficient with setups, offsets, and interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up mill/lathe machines and load raw materials for production.
• Read and interpret technical prints and drawings to make necessary offsets and adjustments to ensure parts meet quality standards — no programming required; programs are pre-made.
• Inspect parts using personal precision tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production, quality checks, and maintenance records.
• Support a safe, clean, and efficient work environment; collaborate on process improvements and resolve production challenges.

MANUAL MILL & LATHE OPERATION | COCKEYSVILLE, MD | $25+ Depending on Experience

IMPORTANT: This is a manual mill/lathe machine operation role — NOT a CNC programming position. No programming experience is required. All programs are pre-made; the machinist is responsible for setups, offsets, and hands-on adjustments to produce quality parts.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Milling Machinist to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in manual mill and lathe operations who thrives in a precision-driven environment.
