Job summary

C&A Tool Engineering, Inc. in Northeast Indiana is seeking qualified CNC machinists to operate Mori Seiki NV5000 and other multi‑axis mills, set up tools, read prints and verify tolerances.

The position offers 2nd and 3rd shift with a 10% differential, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, PTO, life insurance and disability coverage, plus tuition reimbursement. Qualifications

• Dependable and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Operate CNC Mill and read blueprints with GD&T.
• Make offsets and set work positions to meet tolerances.
• Use micrometers, calipers and optical comparators.
• Follow Quality Procedures and basic math/ computer skills.
• Experience with 2nd/3rd shift operations preferred.

Job Description

Pay Range: Up to $32/hr. with a 10% differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift positions.

No Mandatory Overtime!

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Dependable

Additional Skills:

• Ability to set up Mori Seiki NV5000 from start to finish including prepping of tools
• Ability to set up DMU 40 and DMU 50 with pallet changer from start to finish including prepping of tools
• Ability to read and understand M and G codes
• Use of Fanuc and Siemens controls
• Knowledge of Lyndex Nikken rotary table with 3+2 on vertical Mills
• Experience with full 5-axis vertical Mills
• Trouble shoot machining processes and machines
• Operate multiple machines at one time
• Use of Zeiss CT scanner
• Experience with Medical Components

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 40 lbs. occasionally
• Standing for prolonged periods of time
• 20/20 vision with correction
