Job summary

C&A Tool Engineering, Inc. in Auburn, IN seeks a Business Unit Manager - Medical Division to own the unit's P&L, craft multi-year strategies, and drive growth across markets.

You will lead sales, operations, engineering, and support functions, aligning resources and capital to hit aggressive targets while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. You will represent the unit externally to customers and industry groups, sponsor innovation, and coordinate with the broader MinebeaMitsumi

Qualifications

• Own complete P&L performance for the unit.
• Develop and execute 3–5 year strategic plan and annual operating plan.
• Hit aggressive growth targets through organic initiatives and new market development.
• Lead product/portfolio strategy, pricing, launches, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, Eng/R&D, and customer support for the unit.
• Allocate resources and capital across projects, people, and initiatives.
• Build, coach, and lead a high-performing cross-functional leadership team.
• Drive operational excellence, cost reduction, quality improvement, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify, evaluate, and execute acquisitions, partnerships, or divestitures when appropriate.
• Present business performance, strategy, and investment cases to executive leadership and Board.
• Act as the primary external face of the business unit to key customers and industry groups.
• Champion innovation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, environmental, and ethical standards.

• Develop and execute 3 to 5 year strategic plan and annual operating plan (AOP)
• Set and hit aggressive growth targets through organic initiatives and new market/channel development
• Lead product/portfolio strategy, pricing, new product launches, and lifecycle management
• Oversee sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, engineering/R&D, and customer support for the unit
• Allocate resources and capital across projects, people, and initiatives
• Build, coach, and lead a high-performing cross-functional leadership team
• Drive operational excellence, cost reduction, quality improvement, and customer satisfaction
