Job summary

Industrial Talent Group is seeking experienced CNC Mill Leads/Shift Supervisors in the Longmont, CO area to manage 2nd Shift and Weekend operations. The role involves hands-on programming in Mastercam, setting up CNC mills, and leading a team to meet strict quality and production goals.

The ideal candidate will independently program complex parts, troubleshoot issues, and work with engineering to optimize processes for high-precision aerospace components.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC milling experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Independently program complex parts using Mastercam.
• Strong setup and operation experience on CNC mills.
• Experience machining aerospace or high-precision components preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T.
• Strong understanding of tooling, workholding, feeds and speeds, and machining strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production activities during your assigned shift.
• Independently program complex components using Mastercam.
• Set up and operate CNC milling machines with minimal supervision.
• Optimize programs, tooling, and machining processes to improve efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to machinists.
• Verify part quality through precision measuring equipment and inspection procedures.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues.
• Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
• Collaborate with engineering and management to improve manufacturing processes.
