Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a WPT Mechanical Maintenance Technician to sustain uptime in Assembly and Machining departments in Duncan SC. The role covers CNC machines, hydraulic presses, torque stations, and related equipment. On-call duties may be required during downtime.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, read blueprints, and work with external vendors to ensure timely maintenance and continuous improvement of PM schedules.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot CNC machines for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Repair machinery to keep production lines running.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines and associated equipment.
• Support PM scheduling and documentation.
• Coordinate with external contractors for timely maintenance.
