DuPont in Virginia (Ridgeway site) seeks a Mechanical Engineering Technician with an Associate’s degree and 10+ years' experience to support manufacturing operations, design fixtures, read and create drawings, and program CNC machining centers.

You will collaborate with the Pencader site team in Newark, DE, oversee MOC processes, develop work instructions, and help optimize processes while upholding drafting standards.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering technology or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical tech/manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and CAD/CAM 3D modeling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Aufgaben

• Provide on-site technical support for manufacturing operations including CNC machining of Vespel parts and shapes.
• Program and optimize CNC machining centers.
• Design and fabricate tooling, fixtures, and inspection gauges for discrete part manufacturing.
• Oversee the MOC process to ensure changes are reviewed and documented.
• Create work instructions to support new parts and operations.
• Support capital planning for manufacturing and facility equipment needs.
• Provide project support and documentation management.
• Interface with Pencader site Manufacturing Technology and Quality teams.
• Provide regular progress updates to project leaders and stakeholders.
• Follow Pencader drafting standards and practices.
