Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a dedicated machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, measure finished parts, and monitor quality and safety on the shop floor. You will maintain tooling, adjust programs, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve production issues.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1+ year in machining and CNC programming preferred. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED required.
• Experience: 1+ year in machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: Machine Tooling Certificate.
• Computer Skills: CNC Programming.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining on metal or rubber workpieces as per specs.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools to ensure quality.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust parameters for quality and safety.
• Change, align and maintain tools and fixtures; perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Modify and load machine programs; communicate with supervisors to resolve issues.
• Follow safety, 5S, attendance, and production record-keeping requirements.
