Job summary

Neapco is seeking a Manufacturing Technician at our Beatrice, Nebraska location. You will support production by setting up equipment, reading prints, and maintaining quality and efficiency. The role requires reliable performance and strong mechanical aptitude.

Eligible candidates may receive up to a $2,000 welcome bonus. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years in manufacturing or CNC-related work. Overtime and rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, machine setup, machining, CNC operation, or related experience.
• Demonstrated reliability through attendance and performance.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment.
• Read operational prints to configure machines.
• Adjust processes to meet tolerances.
• Use gauges and measuring devices to verify parts.
• Maintain accurate records and report discrepancies.
• Complete 1st article sign-off and control plans.
• Troubleshoot machine setup issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain coolant and lubrication as prescribed.
• Document processes and labor activities, in writing and electronically.
• Work overtime to meet production needs and participate in continuous improvement.
• Perform 5S in the work cell and read blueprints.
