Job summary

Hurco Companies is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for our Indianapolis, IN headquarters. This full-time, first-shift position involves assembling, configuring, testing, and preparing CNC machine tools for customers worldwide.

Hands-on training will be provided for those with manufacturing experience or technical education who enjoy troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. You will install options, troubleshoot components, perform testing, document issues, and prepare machines for

Qualifications

2+ years of manufacturing, mechanical assembly, maintenance, or related experience or an Associate degree in a technical field.
Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
Ability to read and follow technical instructions and procedures.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Ability to lift, move, and work around large industrial equipment.
Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Install and test machine options and accessories according to established procedures.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical components on CNC machine tools.
Perform machine testing to verify performance, identify defects, and make necessary adjustments.
Document mechanical issues and material discrepancies.
Prepare completed machines for shipment by securing them to skids and applying protective packaging.
Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (forklift experience is a plus).
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
