IMS Gear in Gainesville, GA is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Technician with a strong background in turning operations to support a high-volume automotive manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot, set up, and optimize CNC turning equipment while collaborating with production teams to drive results.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of manufacturing experience, CNC turning expertise, and skills in mechanical troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong CNC machining experience focusing on turning operations.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read measurements and use calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Experience improving machine performance and reducing downtime.
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize CNC turning equipment.
• Set up machines for new products and production changes.
• Analyze downtime, scrap, and machine performance data.
• Support process improvements that increase quality, productivity, and OEE.
• Train operators on equipment, processes, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate tooling, spare parts, and equipment readiness.
• Partner with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet customer demands.

IMS Gear is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Technician with a strong background in turning operations to support our high-volume automotive manufacturing facility in Gainesville, GA. What You’ll Do

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling up to 250 lbs. using material handling equipment
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
