Job summary

PennEngineering in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Manufacturing Strategy Engineer to own the CNC platform, lead programming, setup, and process development, and optimize performance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5–7 years CNC machining, programming, or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Proficiency with CNC programming (G-code/M-code) and at least one CAM package.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specs.
• Experience with data collection/analysis using Excel, ERP, or dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC platform.
• Develop CNC programs, tooling strategies, and processes to maximize productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with CNC reps to improve performance, tooling layouts, and capabilities.
• Evaluate performance vs. production needs and advise on long-term equipment strategies.
• Lead projects to improve efficiency, utilization, throughput, and quality.
