Marini Manufacturing, Inc. is hiring a skilled machinist to operate CNC and conventional machines, turning drawings into precise parts. You’ll verify tolerances with micrometers and gauges, document production data, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Join a team that values accuracy, consistency, and craftsmanship. Expect routine machine setup, deburring, washing, and staging of finished parts, with guidance from the Shop Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Baseline blueprint reading capability.
  • General math and reading skills.
  • "Comfort with gauges, accurate readings, and interpretation of measurement data."

Responsibilities

  • Set up, load, and secure workpieces using hoists and hand tools to prepare safe, stable machining conditions.
  • Run cycles, watch performance, and react quickly—tuning controls or media to correct any deviation.
  • Validate results with micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks before a part leaves your station.
  • Identify each finished piece by tag or stamp and log production details on Process and Log sheets.
  • Finish parts: wash, deburr (files, die grinders, hand grinders), and stage on pallets or in tubs.
  • Protect uptime with routine PM: clean machine interiors/exteriors, verify oil levels, and tackle minor repairs; elevate issues to your supervisor.

Your impact
