The company seeks a Manufacturing/Process Engineering Team Lead to guide a 5-person crew in a CNC environment, advancing products, lean processes, and automation. You will support NPI with the customer engineering team and oversee shop-floor automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing/processing engineering teams in a CNC environment.
• Proficiency in MasterCam and SolidWorks for tooling/fixture design.
• Experience with FANUC robotics and pick-and-place applications.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining operations (Lathes, Mills, Swiss-type).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 5 Manufacturing/Process Engineers and 1 Engineering Technician.

• Provide hands-on CNC programming and tooling design to optimize production.

Job Description

• Lead and manage a team of 5 Manufacturing/Process Engineers and 1 Engineering Technician within a CNC manufacturing environment
• Direct all machining functions and guide the team in developing new products, solutions, and lean manufacturing processes
• Provide hands‑on expertise in CNC programming and tooling design to optimize production capabilities
• Automate processes and deliver troubleshooting and technical assistance on the shop floor
• Serve as the primary technical liaison with the customer engineering department to support New Part Introduction (NPI), project management, timelines, and design implementation
• Drive automation initiatives utilizing FANUC robots throughout the plant

Key Requirements

• Proficiency in MasterCam (open to other CAM software) and SolidWorks for tooling and fixture design
• Experience with FANUC robotics, including pick-and-place applications
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining operations including Lathes, Mills, and some Swiss-type machines
• Demonstrated experience with aerospace and/or military machined parts manufacturing
