Job summary

SOC LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer- CNC Programming & Floor Support to work on site in Tucson, AZ. This role focuses on troubleshooting CNC equipment, developing production CNC programs, and training machinists to meet hardware requirements.

You will collaborate with machinists to improve throughput, apply CAM methods, and maintain manufacturing documentation while ensuring safety and quality standards on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC programming and optimization on lathes and mills.
• Experience supporting machinists on the factory floor.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and manufacturing docs.
• Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with machinists to improve machining efficiencies and train on operations.
• Troubleshoot CNC equipment and manufacturing processes to minimize interruptions.
• Develop and optimize production-level CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines.
• Create CAM program documentation and work instructions.
• Support NPI and manufacturing development activities.
