Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in King of Prussia, PA, seeks an experienced CNC Programmer to turn complex designs into production-ready programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines. You will drive machining strategy, validate programs on the shop floor, and help improve manufacturing performance from prototype through full-rate production.

You will interpret engineering drawings, select tooling and speeds/feeds, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC programming on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines.
• Proficiency with CAM software for CNC programming.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, speeds and feeds.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and define machining strategies.
• Experience validating CNC programs (prove-outs) and troubleshooting production issues.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Ability to work on-site full-time.

Basic Qualifications

• To be considered, candidates must meet all requirements listed:
• Minimum of 3 years experience programming CNC machines (3-, 4-, and 5-axis)
• Proficiency with CAM software for CNC programming
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, speeds, and feeds
