Job summary

Leupold & Stevens, Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support NPD and production improvements. This hands‑on role drives tooling, fixtures, and processes with a focus on cost‑effective technologies and state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing methods.

You will collaborate across functions to optimize process efficiency, automation, and quality, maintaining Beaverton's manufacturing legacy and product excellence.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering with 3–5 years in manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC machining/programming; 5-axis milling preferred.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality control and ergonomics.
• GD&T knowledge including cost accounting, labor standards and statistics.
• Strong communication and ability to work across functions.

Responsibilities

• Consult on engineering projects related to new product introductions and process improvements (CNC milling).
• Provide technical input and support to production teams.
• Research and justify designs for tooling, gauges, manufacturing and assembly systems.
• Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications.
• Lead small process-improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
