Job summary

Freeform Future Corp. is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Machining) for the Hawthorne facility.

You will develop, optimize, and implement CNC programs for complex metal components, working closely with engineers and machinists to establish standards across a high-volume, vertically integrated workflow using DMG Mori and Haas machines. The ideal candidate is technically hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and possesses CNC programming experience along with GD&T

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
Experience with CNC programming and machining (internships/college clubs acceptable).
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and implement CNC programs for complex metal components.
Program, set up, and refine operations on multi-axis CNC machines (DMG Mori and Haas).
Interpret CAD models, drawings, and GD&T to create precise machining programs.
Select tools, speeds, feeds, and strategies for efficiency and repeatability.
Troubleshoot CNC programming issues with machinists and design engineers.
Maintain CNC program libraries, tool databases, and process documentation.
Drive process improvements to boost productivity and reduce cycle times.
Collaborate with additive designers on workholding and design/process fixes.
Design and deploy automation to enhance quality control and production rates.
Provide hands-on on-floor support, training, and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
