Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to design, implement, and optimize CNC-driven manufacturing processes for lathes and mills. The role emphasizes process improvement, ECN/ECO management, and CAD/CAM utilization to enhance quality, cost, and safety in production.

The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead small projects, and apply GD&T and data-driven analysis to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering field with 5+ years of CNC manufacturing experience.
• Experience developing, modifying, and troubleshooting CNC programs.
• Experience with machining processes, tool selection, speeds/feeds, and process optimization.
• Ability to apply engineering concepts to a defined solution line.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve CNC programs for lathes and mills to support production requirements and quality.
• Review ECNs/ECOs and update processes, tooling, routings, and documentation for timely production implementation.
• Plan and design basic manufacturing processes and determine equipment and tooling to meet specifications.
• Lead process improvement projects focusing on efficiency, material yield, safety, and cost.
• Support engineering design, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional teams.
