Job summary

DRT Holdings, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for CNC machining and aerospace-focused production in Winsted, CT. You will develop and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and workflows while supporting daily CNC operations with a strong emphasis on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or CNC Manufacturing experience.
• Strong background in CNC machining and precision manufacturing environments.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and production workflows.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Process Development: Develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing processes, routings, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions.
• CNC Machining & Production Support: Partner with machinists, programmers, supervisors, and production teams to support daily operations.
• Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives; drive Lean Manufacturing projects.
• Quality & Technical Support: Interpret drawings and specs; collaborate with Quality/Engineering to resolve manufacturing concerns; maintain process records.
