Job summary

High Plains Steel Services, LLC in Windsor, Colorado, is seeking a Machine Operator to run CNC and manual machines, including burn tables, press brakes, saws, and robotic equipment, to fabricate steel parts to specification.

You will inspect parts, follow blueprints, and maintain safety standards, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance, collaborating with the Fabrication Foreman and team to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery in a steel fabrication or equivalent industrial setting.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and quality control standards.
• Commitment to safety, including training in safety programs (e.g., GHS/HazCom).
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual machines (burn tables, press brakes, saws, robotic equipment) to fabricate steel parts per specification.
• Inspect parts and verify conformance to blueprints and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and quickly resolve machine or production issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and follow safety/maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with Fabrication Foreman and team to meet production goals and adapt to priorities.
