Job summary

Qualigence International seeks a Finish Turn Operator to set up and run a CNC lathe, inspecting forgings/rolls and maintaining equipment in a manufacturing environment. This hourly role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and potential for earnings growth through our Production Incentive Bonus Program.

Starting wage can reach $30+ per hour, with benefits including health, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with company contributions, paid holidays, PTO, and safety footwear provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous CNC or machining experience required.
• Must be able to read/interpret blueprints.
• Good math skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathe and controller.
• Inspect forging/roll; report any deviation from specification.
• Machine forging/roll to specification.
• Preventative maintenance on lathe.
• Perform other department duties, as assigned.

The Finish Turn Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a CNC lathe to machine our forged steel rolls. Based on experience, earn up to $30+ per hour for a starting wage!! $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS (paid in increments throughout the first year of continued employment). AND the opportunity to earn even more money per hour with our Production Incentive Bonus Program!

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

• Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout shift
• Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
• Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration

Qualifications

• Previous CNC or machining experiencerequired
• Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery required
• Must be able to read/interpret blueprints
• Good math skills

• Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
