Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA is seeking a Machine Operator B to set up and run CNC and manual machines, inspect parts with precision instruments, and perform deburring and part marking.

This onsite role requires a high school diploma and 1 year of machining or maintenance experience; GD&T knowledge is preferred. The role is unionized and paid at an hourly rate of $31.74 with benefits possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in machine trades, machining, or maintenance.
• Experience with CNC and manual machining is preferred.
• Ability to read instructions and use precision measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run CNC and manual equipment to perform machining and inspection.
• Select tooling, fixturing, feeds, speeds, and dimensions for machining operations.
• Use precision measuring equipment to machine and inspect parts.
• Deburr parts and identify them as required.
• Maintain safe, organized work area and document results.
