3010 HYDRIL USA DISTRIBUTION is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in CNC maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment efficiently.

The role involves performing preventive maintenance, assisting in the installation of equipment, and maintaining an inventory of repair supplies. Strong communication skills and the ability to understand complex schematics are essential.

This position operates from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime based on operational needs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a CNC maintenance technician.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair production equipment efficiently.
  • Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
  • Assist in the movement and installation of production materials.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies.

Responsibilities
  • 3+years of CNC maintenance technician experience.
  • Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation.
  • Ability to read part manuals, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Diagnose, identify problems, and efficiently effect repairs on production equipment.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic Office computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Works within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability to modify approach.
  • Performs routine day‑to‑day activities.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on assigned production equipment.
  • Assist and direct in the movement and installation of production equipment.
  • Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established options.
  • Work with Maintenance team to maintain inventory of maintenance materials and supplies to assure down time is minimized due to lack of parts.
  • Promote personal accountability for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) by adhering to the principles and guidelines outlined in HMH's HSSE governing policy.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to exchange straightforward information in routine situations.
  • Ability to comprehend electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagrams, prints and schematics.
  • Possess the skill to use highly accurate measuring equipment.
  • Follow work instructions and complete work orders with minimal supervision.
  • Possess the ability to mentor lesser skilled maintenance personnel.
Additional Information

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.No relocation assistance.3:00PM–11:30PM Monday through Friday (overtime as required).
