Job summary

Precision Castparts in Washington state seeks a Level 2 Maintenance Technician to perform intermediate preventive maintenance on CNC machines, troubleshoot, install, move and repair equipment, and manage hazardous materials. You will interpret manuals, operate forklifts, use hand tools and precision devices, and coordinate with the shop floor and management while maintaining 6S and LOTO standards.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of manufacturing experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and industrial techniques.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred.
• HVAC and PLC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular, scheduled, emergency, and unscheduled repairs of production equipment and machines during production.
• Performs preventative maintenance including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting on CNC machines, and maintains weekly oil stocking and chip management.
• Operates CNC machines in manual mode and changes filters and belts as needed.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance services.
• Uses hand tools and precision measuring devices to diagnose equipment problems and perform replacements, repairs, tests, and adjustments.
• Follows safety policies, such as PPE, equipment operation, and performs Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Interacts with shop floor and management; understands basic assembly and electrical drawings.
