Job summary

Aerobraze, a division of Wall Colmonoy, Cincinnati, OH, seeks a CNC Maintenance Technician to service state-of-the-art CNC equipment 5:00pm–5:00am. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on CNC lathes and mills, inspection of mechanical/electrical systems, calibration, and PM recordkeeping in the CMMS.

Experience with Mazak/HaAS/Okuma/Doosan is preferred. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, 2+ years on CNC machines, and strong reading of OEM manuals and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical degree or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance in manufacturing; at least 2 years on CNC machining equipment.
• Experience with PMs on CNC lathes and mills (vertical/horizontal).
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems in machine tools.
• Experience with coolant systems, testing, and changeouts.
• Ability to read OEM manuals, schematics, and drawings; basic LOTO understanding.
• Proficient with CMMS for work orders and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance on CNC machines per OEM specs and PM procedures.
• Inspect and service mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components including spindles and coolant systems.
• Calibrate machine geometry, tool offsets, and axis alignment; document findings and fixes.
• Identify wear trends and advise on maintenance intervals or replacements.
• Maintain PM records in the CMMS with parts, time, and notes.
• Troubleshoot CNC control issues and coordinate with OEM support.
