Job summary

Valley Steel Stamp is seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (2pm–12am) on-site in Greenfield, MA, to support repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of CNC machines and related equipment.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues, complete work orders, document repairs and downtime details, and work with Maintenance leadership, Production, Engineering and Quality to minimize downtime and keep equipment safe and productive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior industrial maintenance or CNC repair experience required.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines, machining centers, lathes, mills, grinders, robotics, conveyors, coolant systems, pumps, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per schedules and work orders.
• Diagnose issues involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and toolings.
• Document repairs, downtime, parts used, and follow-up needs.
• Assist with installations, moves, alignment, and process improvements.
• Inspect equipment for safety, wear, and potential failures; communicate findings.
