Job summary

Owens Corning Foundation is seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to service and maintain CNC machines and automated saws on-site in Corona, CA. You will ensure production continuity by coordinating with vendors and performing preventive maintenance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (technical certification preferred) and hands-on experience with CNC equipment and related mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and software systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Proven experience working with CNC machines and/or automated saws.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CNC machines according to engineering drawings and understand dimensions for repeatability and production scaling.
• Dialogue with external vendors to ensure components and equipment are available for production.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects with other departments.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies; perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machines and automated saws.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues; conduct preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with production team to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machine performance.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CNC machines according to engineering drawings and understand dimensions as they pertain to repeatability, equipment capabilities, tooling, and scaled-up production.
• Dialogue with external vendors, as needed, to ensure that all necessary components and equipment are always available to keep production running.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects and collaborate with other departments, as requested.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machines and automated saws.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machine performance.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and other staff as needed.
