Job Description
The CNC Maintenance Technician is responsible for:
- Ensuring all manufacturing equipment and machinery are maintained in good working condition by implementing a preventative maintenance program.
- Troubleshooting equipment failures and coordinating necessary repairs in a timely manner.
- Assisting in the installation and qualification of new equipment to ensure proper operation according to manufacturer specifications.
- Establishing and maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all manufacturing equipment in the Wulco facility.
- Participating in programs to regularly check equipment performance and perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Diagnosing equipment breakdowns or deviations from specifications to determine causes and corrective actions.
- Completing mechanical and electrical repairs or coordinating contract repairs to ensure equipment operates correctly.
- Maintaining documentation on repairs, warranties, and equipment status.
- Recommending equipment replacements when necessary and ensuring proper installation and power hookups for new machines.
Job Skills & Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and troubleshooting skills.
- Lift Truck Operator's License.
- Completion of 60 days of on-the-job training approved by a supervisor.
- Proficiency in using MSDS sheets.
- Basic safety training.
