Job summary

Ushers Machine and Tool Co., Inc. / Aalberts Surface Technologies – Machining Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join the plant support team with a heavy focus on preventative maintenance for CNC equipment.

The role emphasizes keeping CNC machines and facility systems running safely, reliably, and efficiently, preventing small issues from becoming big problems. Shift is First Shift / 4×10‑hour days (Mon–Thu, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of CNC maintenance experience.
• 3–5 years of facilities maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently while communicating with production and management.
• Commitment to safety and doing things correctly.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance for the manufacturing facility.
• Ensure timely completion of routine and as-needed maintenance.
