Job summary

MSA, The Safety Company in United States seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep CNC machinery and tooling running. You will install, maintain and repair mechanical equipment, lead preventative maintenance, and support asset strategies for the Machine Shop and Tool Room.

Role requires hands-on work with complex machinery, reading drawings, and basic PLC knowledge (Fanuc controls, ladder logic). This position is part of the Machine Shop leadership team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in production.
• Experience with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC lathe and milling machines.
• Able to read and analyze mechanical drawings/blueprints.
• Knowledge of Fanuc-based controllers and ladder logic.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair mechanical equipment and CNC machinery (mills, lathes).
• Implement and oversee periodic maintenance program for all machine tools.
• Identify and troubleshoot problems and propose repairs or replacements.
• Identify opportunities to improve machine shop efficiency and sustainability via upgrades.
