Job summary

CMI Group Aerospace & Defense is seeking a CNC Maintenance Mechanic in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time, day shift role involves repairing, assembling and testing CNC machines, performing preventative maintenance, and inspecting equipment for malfunctions.

You will work with various tools and document all work completed. Ideal candidates have basic mechanical skills, familiarity with hand tools, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills required.
• Knowledge of hand tools and industrial tools beneficial.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical and plumbing preferred.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation expected.
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects up to 35 lbs; more with assistance.
• Ability to stand or walk for the majority of the shift; bend, kneel, or squat as needed.

Responsibilities

CNC Maintenance Mechanic

Location: 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040

Shift: Full time, day shift

Responsibilities:

• Repair, assemble and test CNC machines and equipment
• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment
• Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections
• Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions
• Complete repairs and parts replacements
• Work effectively with other team members in a safe environment
• Repair, install, adjust or maintain machines or vehicles
• Complete written record of work performed
