Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. (Defense Business Unit) is seeking a Level A CNC Operator to set up, operate and inspect parts on conventional and CNC machines.

You will work from drawings and process specifications to ensure timely production of quality components for defense applications. The role requires an active DoD clearance, flexibility to work any shift (including weekends), and adherence to union and drug-free workplace policies.

Qualifications

• Active DoD clearance required to be considered.
• Willing and able to work any shift, including alternative work weeks and some weekends.
• This is a union-represented position.

Responsibilities

• Set‑up, operate and inspect parts on CNC machines to ensure on‑time delivery of quality products.
• Work from drawings, process specs, QC requirements and established procedures.
• Perform multi-tasking across multiple machines and operations.
• Maintain quality records and perform routine machine maintenance as part of daily duties.
• Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified.
