Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Machinist to set up and operate CNC Vertical Turn/Mill machines (VBM with 840D controls). You will install tooling and programs, adjust settings, and ensure materials and tools meet blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years CNC machining experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of G-Code & M-Code; Siemens 840D preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and CAD files; operate independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Vertical Turn/Mill machines with 840D controls.
• Install tooling, programs, and adjust machine settings.
• Perform precision turning, drilling, and milling to tight tolerances.
• Read blueprints, CAD files and follow technical instructions.
• Inspect parts with precision tools and ensure quality.
