Qualifications

Job description

This position involves operating, setting up, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on CNC equipment to fabricate and modify tooling used in production.

Responsibilities:

  • Set-up, adjust, program, and operate 2 CNC Lathes to produce tooling within close tolerances
  • Plan work, determine cutting sequences, and develop fixtures
  • Calculate dimensions, input data, and ensure work to specifications
  • Use precision instruments to check dimensions and ensure quality
  • Select and maintain tools, perform housekeeping, and assist in training
  • Follow safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and courses in machine operation and metalworking; Mazak programming, CAD/CAM training preferred
  • 1-3 years of toolroom and machining experience with proficiency in required skills

Work conditions: Good surrounding conditions, frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
