Job summary

Prince Industries is seeking a CNC Machinist I to operate CNC lathes and mills, reading blueprints and setting up tooling to produce precision components. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and continuous process improvement in a fast-paced shop environment.

Candidates should have CNC experience, familiarity with MAZAK/HAAS/Fanuc/Mori controls, and be able to work night shifts and weekends as needed to meet customer demands. A high school diploma and basic machining skills are required.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of CNC milling machines and operations.
• Must be familiar with MAZAK, HAAS, Fanuc, and Mori Controls.
• Understands and can function using M and G codes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to night shifts and weekends as needed to meet customer or company needs.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC lathes and mills with minimal supervision.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and technical drawings.
• Loads and unloads raw materials safely.
• Uses gauges and measuring instruments to verify tolerances.
• Supports process improvement within the department.
• Adheres to ISO requirements and safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean and organized shop environment.
