Job summary

Luttrell Staffing Group is seeking a CNC Machinist in Columbia, KY to set up, operate, and program CNC machines and turning centers. The role requires reading blueprints, inspection, and maintaining quality standards.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position offering $16-$18.25 per hour and opportunities to advance in a manufacturing environment. You will work with pumps and machine parts to exact specifications and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous experience preferred.
• Knowledge of micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to stand for duration of shift.
• Ability to lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program CNC machines and turning centers.
• Assemble pumps and machine parts to specifications.
• Inspect, adjust, and troubleshoot tooling and parts.
• Ensure quality standards and production times are met.
• Maintain safety protocols and documentation.
• Use fixturing plates and bore jaws as needed.
• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place.
• Completes any other related tasks as needed.
