Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform work order activities according to production process procedures.
2. Conduct daily equipment maintenance inspections, including lubrication, fluid checks, chip handling, and scrap removal.
3. Load programs and verify procedures via DNC, USB, interfaces, etc.
4. Set up, operate, and teardown CNC and ancillary equipment as per specifications, including bar feeders, tool setups, collet changes, etc.
5. Perform CNC cycle starts and stops accurately and efficiently.
6. Execute single-step procedures through CNC programs.
7. Change tools at predetermined intervals accurately and efficiently.
8. Load materials into CNCs, VMCs, bar feeders, and other equipment.
9. Efficiently teardown previous setups, removing unnecessary items.
10. Perform edge-breaking and deburring as required.
11. Locate and verify proper tools and inserts for CNC operations.
12. Read and interpret production prints and measuring devices; perform quality checks.
13. Gather and measure parts produced by CNC.
14. Report malfunctions such as equipment failures or damage.
15. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or Mechanical coursework in CNC setup and operation.
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience.
• Skill in operating CNC machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring devices like calipers and micrometers.
• Good communication and mathematical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow production and quality procedures.
