Job summary

Knowles-Corporation is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes. You will develop and edit CNC programs, interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements, and verify part quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties include creating and editing Mastercam programs, using SolidWorks/CAD as needed, determining feeds and speeds, and ensuring burr-free, high-precision parts. Safety and lean improvements are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of hands-on machining experience.
• At least 1 year of CNC programming experience.
• Experience with Mastercam 2018 or newer; ability to create and edit programs is required.
• Associate degree, trade-school certificate, or equivalent technical training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan machining operations from drawings, CAD models, and GD&T callouts.
• Create CNC programs for new parts and modify existing programs using Mastercam; reference CAD files as needed.
• Set up, prove out, and operate CNC milling machines and lathes; verify tooling and offsets before production.
• Set up and operate Wire EDM equipment as required.
• Inspect in-process and finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and comparators; document results.
