Job summary

Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Corp. in Danbury, CT is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Operator/Programmer to join our family-owned team.

You will set up, program, and operate CNC Milling and Turning machines, inspect parts, and help maintain tooling and fixtures in a fast-paced shop environment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in manufacturing, experience with Haas CNC controls, GD&T knowledge, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; skilled trade certification preferred.
Minimum 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Haas and/or CNC controls.
Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to adapt, prioritize, multi-task and be flexible.

Responsibilities

Set up, troubleshoot, and operate CNC Milling and Turning Machines.
Inspect work using bench gauging to ensure conformance to specifications.
Follow Standard Work in CNC setup, operation, verification, documentation, and material handling.
Perform light preventative maintenance on CNC machines to maintain performance.
Report safety issues and improper work to supervisor; participate in safety compliance.
