Jobot is seeking a seasoned CNC Machinist Programmer to join our team as a permanent, high-precision role focused on aerospace/defense components. You will program, optimize, and troubleshoot using Vericut, while collaborating with engineering and shop-floor teams to meet demanding quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist Programmer.
• Proficiency in Vericut or equivalent software.
• Extensive experience with 5-Axis Machining.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality management system.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety protocols.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, adjust and optimize CNC programs using Vericut to drive efficiency and productivity.
• Implement and optimize 5-Axis Machining processes to enhance precision and quality.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in programming and production.
• Perform regular equipment inspections to identify and fix potential issues before they escalate.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product requirements, develop machining strategies, and implement improvements.
• Adhere to and enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Maintain documentation for all machine adjustments and updates for reference purposes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting changes in equipment, procedures or methods to improve efficiency and and quality.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality management system.
