Job summary

DRT Holdings, LLC in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a SR Machinist Programmer to support precision machining operations, develop CNC programs, and drive production success on the shop floor.

You will collaborate with machinists and engineers, use NX and Mastercam, interpret blueprints with GD&T, and help improve quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years in Manufacturing Engineering, CNC Programming, or Process Engineering.
• Strong Mastercam programming experience.
• Experience supporting CNC mills, lathes, VTLs, or multi-axis machining centers.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs and optimize using NX.
• Determine manufacturing methods, routing sequences, tooling, fixturing, and inspection requirements.
• Support first article prove-outs and production launches.
• Create setup sheets, operation sheets, and manufacturing documentation.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues on the shop floor.
• Develop manufacturing estimates and job quotes for precision-machined components.
• Interpret blueprints and apply GD&T requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Partner closely with machinists, supervisors, quality personnel, and production teams.
