Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced CNC Machinists in Granite City, IL, for set-up and operation of NC/CNC machines while inspecting parts to tolerances. Responsibilities include reading engineering drawings, changing tools, and using precision gauges.

Qualified candidates have 2 years in manufacturing, a Machining Technology certificate or equivalent, and high school diploma. Pay is $30.87/hr with full-time evaluation hire and benefits.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings/sketches.
• Perform basic math to verify tolerances and measurements.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines for diverse parts per drawings.
• Operate CNC machines without assistance and change tools as needed.
• Inspect parts to required tolerances using measuring gauges.
• Record production data and report equipment or material issues.
