Job summary

Premier Tech Systems and Automation is seeking a skilled machinist to review drawings, program CNC mill, bending and laser equipment, and plan production sequences to meet exact specifications. The role requires reading mechanical drawings, operating multiple machines, and ensuring quality output.

The ideal candidate will have industrial machinist experience, strong math and measurement skills, and a safety-minded, reliable team player attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience as a machinist in an industrial environment.
• Ability to program equipment using Fanuc G code.
• Able to drill, tap and deburr various parts.
• Able to read calipers and tape measures.
• Knowledge of the properties of metal and other materials.
• Proficient in math skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Reliability and team spirit with a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output.
• Programming, operating and maintaining CNC mill, bending machine and laser machine.
• Planning the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.
• Taking measurements and marking material for cutting or shaping.
• Determining and programming size of batches and speed of machines.
• Checking output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects.
