Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a CNC Operator III to perform machining operations on both CNC and manual equipment. You will read blueprints, set up tooling, and verify dimensions with precision gauges to ensure parts meet strict quality standards.

The role requires attention to detail, safety adherence, and the ability to work in a collaborative manufacturing team. Base salary ranges from 52,800 to 72,600 USD annually, with benefits and opportunities for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Operate CNC machining equipment, including setup and tool changes.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify part quality.
• Maintain high attention to detail to meet specifications.
• Work well in a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Read from engineering drawings, specs, and instructions.
• Interpret complex blueprints to determine requirements.
• Preset and verify tooling with measuring equipment.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust for quality/production.
• Operate CNC and manual machine tools in the department.
• Use micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, etc.
• Inspect finished components for spec compliance.
• Report malfunctions or defects to supervisor.
• Maintain safety and quality procedures.
• Complete production records and reports.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow company policies and safety rules.
• Lift/move up to 50 lb; help with heavier loads.
• Support department objectives and other duties as needed.
• Work overtime as required.
