Job summary

JONA MANUFACTURING SERVICES INC in Los Alamos, NM is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist to set up, run, and troubleshoot CNC machines according to engineering drawings. You will interpret blueprints, select tooling, load materials, and monitor dimensions and finishes to ensure parts meet spec.

You will collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve issues, perform routine maintenance, document results, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or CNC certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CNC programs; basic understanding of G-code is beneficial.
• Experience in turning and milling, with capability to interpret detailed specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce parts per drawings and work orders.
• Interpret blueprints, select tooling, load materials, and adjust machine settings for precise dimensions and finishes.
• Inspect parts for accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and gauges; document production and quality results.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes; maintain a safe, organized work environment.
