Job summary

Keel is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate CNC machines in a job shop setting, producing complex parts with tight tolerances and on-time delivery. On-the-job training is provided as needed.

The role requires reading blueprints and sketches, knowledge of GD&T, and 2+ years of related experience in a diverse machining environment. Shift options include day and night, with differential pay where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years of related machine tool experience in a job shop or prototype setting.
• Experience machining for diverse industries; knowledge of GD&T and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced setup operations and adjust tools per programs.
• Adjust and check programming; operate CNC machines for complex parts.
• Set speeds/feeds; follow tool arrangements and machine calibrations.
• Work from blueprints, sketches and written specs; ensure conformance to specs.
• May run more than one unit simultaneously; perform quality checks.
