Dover Corporation's OPW – Clean Energy Solutions unit in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Machinist to support production of precision components. The role requires reading blueprints, setting up machines, and performing quality inspections on multiple CNC Centers.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of CNC experience, familiarity with Fanuc controls, and a basic grasp of G&M code, with CAD/CAM exposure as a plus.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years CNC machining experience; CNC certificate preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, BOMs, and routings.
• Basic mathematics including geometry and trigonometry.
• Proficient with handheld gages, calipers, and micrometers; familiarity with vision systems.
• Experience with Fanuc controls and G&M code.
• Desirable: Gibbs CAM, CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), PLC knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Aid set-up and operate equipment under supervision in the machining department.
• Select cutting tools, tool grades, speeds and feeds from programming documents.
• Interpret blueprints, BOMs and job routings.
• Inspect parts and document quality results; adjust machines as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance: oiling, greasing, coolant checks.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements at all times.
• Communicate issues to lead and escalate when needed.
• Mentor and train less experienced machinists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
