Segers Aero Corporation is seeking a skilled Machinist to operate CNC and manual machines in Fairhope, AL. The role involves repairing parts, reading blueprints, and maintaining ±0.0005 tolerances to support aerospace components.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of experience as a machinist (CNC and manual) required.
• Must pass a DOT FAA pre-employment drug screen and FAA regulations.
• Ability to provide verifications of US citizenship or permanent residency to satisfy ITAR/EAR restrictions.
• Position is safety-sensitive per FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Machine and repair parts and components according to overhaul manuals.
• Operate mills, lathes and grinders to tight tolerances.
• Read blueprints to specifications.
• Log labor and use company software for instructions.
• Maintain close tolerance of ±0.0005.
• Occasional travel as required.
• Observe safety procedures and PPE.
