Job summary

Hunt Valve, a Fairbanks Morse Defense (FMD) company, is seeking CNC Machinists to set up and operate mills and lathes, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances and drawings. The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating with CNC programmers, and maintaining adherence to quality and ethics in a union facility.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience operating CNC and/or equivalent machinery.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering requirements.
• Experience with inspection measuring devices and precision tolerances.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate machines to manufacture parts to meet engineering blueprints.
• Work with CNC programmer to ensure programs meet drawing specifications.
• Operate one or more CNC machines under supervision and load/edit programs as needed.
• Adhere to company ethics policies and maintain quality standards.
